This year’s annual Pink Ribbon Yoga Retreat for women breast cancer survivors is scheduled for August
18th-20th at The Montreat Conference Center in Black Mountain, N.C. The Pink Ribbon Yoga Retreat
was created 19 years ago to support women breast cancer patients and survivors from around the country.
As of 2022 several hundred women have participated. The retreat is totally funded by donations and
provides both full and partial scholarships to anyone who wants to attend. The retreat focuses on living
life to the fullest and is filled with not only yoga but several other healing modalities. I have been honored
to be the facilitator and yoga instructor for all of these years and am reaching out to my friends and family
to ask you to consider supporting our 2023 retreat.
The cost for the three days is almost $800 but the retreat is offered for only $300-350. As in the past, full
and partial scholarships are available to anyone who requests one. The rest of the weekend’s costs is
covered by the donations made to our sponsor, The Duke Cancer Patient Support Program. The Duke
Cancer Patient Support Program is a non-profit organization that provides vital psychosocial services
without charge for cancer patients and their families.
We need your support.
We sincerely hope that you will support the Pink Ribbon Yoga Retreat with a financial tax deductible
contribution (501C # is 560532129) or by spreading the word about the retreat. As you can imagine the
cost of the retreat has grown over the last 18 years and it has become even more important to generate
funds for it’s continued success. If you know of anyone who might be interested in sponsoring the whole
or even part of the event, please have them contact:

This year you can donate online at the Pink Ribbon Yoga Retreat.
